International Formators Course

What is it about?

The IFC, a 20 day experience in Rome, is for Regnum Christi formators from all over the world. Its main goal is to provide an integral formation by deeply analyzing the relationship between God, man and the world. The course seeks to impart to each participant firm conviction and a formation that the student can then apply to the apostolic work in his country of origin.

The Pillars of the Regnum Christi

In the overall plan of the course will seek to enter into our charism by analyzing the 5 pillars of Regnum Christi:

  • Prayer life
  • Intellectual formation
  • Teamwork
  • Apostolate
  • Companionship

Young people, bet your life for great ideals
We, Christians, have not been chosen by the Lord for small things, always go further, towards great things. Do not bury your talents. Do not be afraid to dream big things. Be "the faith in the street", happy to take Jesus Christ to every corner, every square, every corner of the Earth.

Formative Content

This course presents an integral PROGRAM OF FORMATION offering conferences and workshops that deal with various topics given by experts on those themes. The participants that complete the course will receive a diploma worth 6 ECTS from the European University of Rome.

In our current day and age one of the most important areas for reaching the goals of a company is team work. Wrapped up in team work there are the equally important areas of leadership, cooperation, and the distribution of tasks that correspond to one’s talents. To foster these abilities in the formators, there will be conferences and workshops about:

  • Decision making
  • Teamwork and planning
  • Hierarchy of values
  • Reaching personal goals
  • Taking on team projects

The main objective of the course is to enable the participants to go deeper in their identity as disciples of Christ. Each student should seek to have an encounter with the Lord who called them to the mission of being formators with the Regnum Christi movement.

Thus, during the course there will be ample opportunity for personal and community prayer, daily mass, confession and spiritual direction.

The IFC is held Rome for two reasons. Firstly, Rome currently is and historically has been the heart of the Church and cradle of Western civilization. Secondly, Rome, because of its historical and artistic wealth, is a privileged place to foster cultural growth in the students. One doesn’t merely study in Rome. One studies Rome, and thus there will be ample opportunities to get to know through cultural visits and filed trips.
